I am the happiest nerd in the history of everything ever right now: Due to the wonderful outpouring of support since my first post, I have a bonus post as a big thank you to all! This time, I have a set for the Team Fortress 2 BLU Medic!

Of all of the pieces in this set, I think that I am most in love with the necklace. Doesn’t it resemble a peptide chain? For Hydroxide. Or maybe a secret formula for LSD… Its been ages since I took chemistry. Chem nerds, assemble!

So, while I was watching the Oscars recap something struck me in particular about Lady Gaga’s red carpet outfit:

You see it too, right?
Of course, it helps that he is also one of my favorite gaming characters of all time.. but yes, I was referring to everybody’s favorite Hippocratic Oath-Shirking, Malpractice Lawsuit Waiting to Happen (if it hasn’t already), Medic from Team Fortress 2. And, what better way to kick off my first new set for the blog?

First and foremost, I tried to choose items that were $50 and below, and many of the pieces are beneath that. Seeing as one sees more of the labcoat than than his actual shirt, vest, and tie combo, I thought a beige asymmetrical dress (that I am seriously in love with, btw) would give more of the Fräulein touch for Herr Doktor.

And of course, I included a dove-shaped necklace that symbolizes our dear Medic’s feathered companion, Archimedes. For the braver among you, the heart is also a necklace and for those of you that have seen the ‘Meet the Medic’ video, you’ll know that we’re about to practice some serious medicine.

Lastly as an added touch, I threw in spectacles, a cute shoulder doctor-looking bag in lieu of brown suspenders and an awesome coffee tumbler that doubles as a first aid kit… although, I highly suggest that you do not use them both at the same time. Or you could. For Science!
Seriously though, Team Fortress 2 has been out for ages now and IS COMPLETELY FREE TO PLAY once you download Steam, ALSO FOR FREE. Go forth, and let’s go practice medicine in style!
